| This was a very well attended meeting (around 50 people) which just goes to show how many will come if there is an interesting display and activity. The members and guests were treated to a tour of the extensive and well laid out Bare-Co warehouse (one of 11) guided by company owner and TR Register Aust stalwart, Allan Bare. This was also an opportunity to explore the new parts area; to meet and talk to the genial spare parts worker, Ray Kasparian as well as partake of an excellent barbecue lunch and drinks provided by Allan. Members were also able to buy parts which they had browsed on the well organised shelves. Allan had also arranged an extensive display of new items and some proposed items which will be shared with other members who could not attend by means of a photo display (following over the next week or so). The lunch was followed by a Register meeting. |
The meeting moving a vote of appreciation to the work done by Allan Bare and Ray Kasparian. Allan hosts our new parts stock at no cost to the Register. Ray is the man who actually gets the parts out to you. |
For those who have only spoken to Ray Kasparian but never met him - here he is! B.T.W. - if seeking New Part information, please phone Bruce Hoskins in the evening. Phone No. in "Sidescreen" |
Here are some of the ladies who accompanied their partners - probably a wise move, as the temptation to buy lots & lots of parts was very great ... SEE BELOW! |

A nice line-up of TRs outside the Bare-Co warehouse. |
Geez ... Pikey even bought by the shopping trolley load! (some say he is setting up his own parts warehouse!) |
Some new and unusual parts were on display including soft tops, tonneau, carpet sets ... |
... battery boxes and plastic liners, spin-on filters, replacement crankshafts (tractor type) |
... exhaust fittings and a new possibilty being explored - a wide belt pulley which fits an alternator. We will experiment with fitting these brand new alternators to the TR. |
This the carpet set laid out to show the contents. |
This gives some idea of the quality of the carpet & stitching. |
More detail on the crankshaft shown above. |
These boards show some of the various parts available & are normally displayed inside the Vanguard. The full size pics are QUITE LARGE but may enable you to scroll around & see some detail. |
Oh-oh! - I think he has his eye on this carpet set. |

There is always one boy who has to muck up! |
This is a worry, I must have missed this part - it looks like they are deep in prayer. |
