| Tony & Lesley Xerri organised an invitation run to Cobram to celebrate the 50th Birthday of their TR3A better known as the "Princess". The gathering consisted of about 27 members and partners from Victoria, NSW and Tasmania. It was a great "production" worthy of the stature of a princess as the photos below show. Thanks to our hosts for a great weekend. |

ThePrincess was suitably attired for the event.
(Overseas viewers should note that this a normal event for Ozzies - travel thousands of kilometeres to celebrate the birthday of a car!) In the background is the beautifully prepared table ready for the evening feast.

This is a TR3A radiator view of a birthday cake. The Princes was dribbling at this stage!

One really nice present from the Victorian colleagues was a lovely caricature sketch of the car - note the purple Mustang in the garage.

Lesley responding to a toast to the Princess (the latter being unable to speak at this stage due a grille full of cake).

One of Tony's other interesting hobbies - a r/c Gee Bee Special, scale model of 1930s US racing aircraft.
