Ian & Marlene Lyell had an exciting trip back to Bendigo when they broke a windscreen near Tamworth. Ian bought a secondhand helmet when it was discovered that no TR windscreens were available and off he went to Bendigo. Marlene shoe-horned the hard top into the back of her car.
There was no visor on the helmet so Ian discovered how many insects there are on the open road!
