b. Reconditioned MK11 Ford Escort Rack & Pinion Steering Box with modified steering

c. Intermediate steering wheel shaft (ex V.B Commodore manual steering) with splined
universals to suit Escort pinion shaft and short shaft TR3A Steering Shaft.
d. Brand new Suck Through Thermo Fan (as you have to lose the original cooling fan).

TR2- Original Australian delivered CKD Car - yes even TR2's were sent out for assembly in Australia!... birth certificate to prove it, so original paint colour and trim not detailed, makes it interesting!
Car for restoration about 95%+ complete however drive train has been upgraded with TR3A back axle, 3A engine with Hi-port head and later SU carbs, TR3 front disc brakes, later Dzus type sidescreens, 48 spoke wire wheels, heater unit, no overdrive, (essentially a TR3A in TR2 clothing).
Some work started; excellent chassis frame blasted and primed, bodywork to do some new panels provided,
untouched engine/gearbox although head fully reconditioned to unleaded specification.
Can easily arrange for shipping to anywhere in Australia, car is stripped down and does require full restoration, might be able to carryout some elements of further restoration work by arrangement.
$11500.00 as is.

Travelled 8000 miles since a complete body-off and mechanical restoration completed in September 2001. Finished in original powder blue with new black trim, rear seat & side curtains. (No soft-top). Complete with registration and police records, original engine, metal hard-top, disc wheels, original registration number, police badges, siren.
