FOR SALE TR2/3A gearbox and 'A' type overdrive. (15th June 2008)
Fully rebuilt in 1993 (not by me) and unused since. Has never been fitted to a car. Gearbox is built with a close ratio gear set-perfect for the track yet still good for the road. Ratios available on request. Strengthened cluster gear fitted. Overdrive has been built with a competition accumulator and spring with uprated oil pump. Original receipt for work done with the g/box. Converting a car to overdrive is expensive but this is way below cost plus you get the gearbox. $4,500.

FOR SALE 1960 TR3A (13 Jan 2008)
The formerVictoria Police highway patrol car and one of a kind.
Travelled 8000 miles since a complete body-off and mechanical restoration completed in September 2001. Finished in original powder blue with new black trim, rear seat & side curtains. (No soft-top). Complete with registration and police records, original engine, metal hard-top, disc wheels, original registration number, police badges, siren. Extras include power brakes, electric fuel pump, radio/cd, fog lamps. Photos and history can be seen on the “Powder blue” site and photo gallery under my name.

Price is $42,500.

Car is located in Ringwood Victoria and I prefer that it will remain in Victoria due to its history.

Rare Australian assembled model. Standard Motor Company, Melbourne. CKD, not many of these left. Full body off restoration. Fitted TR4 motor, 4 speed box and overdrive, 72 spoke wire wheels. All new parts fitted purchased from TR Register. Factory all steel hard top restored and new side screens. Comm # 9386, Body # 060. Ute load of spare parts with car, travelled only 92 miles since rebuild. No rego.

Chassis	Jig-repaired, strengthening gussets as per works TR4's, sandblasted, powder-coated gloss black and rust-proofed. Unused since rebuild. $3,950
Inlet Manifold	To suit low port head and 1.3/4” carbies. $130
Flywheel	Early shrunk-fit starter ring type in good condition to suit “Bomb” starter. $100
Exhaust Manifold	Standard. $50
Steel Wheels	4 off 5.1/2”x 15”, ex-Saab modified to suit TR. Very strong and used on my competition TR3A for several years. Powder-coated black and in excellent condition. $350

TR Register Technical Tips Booklet .... Reprint now available to Club Members
Due to unprecedented demand we have decided to re-print the "Technical Tips" booklet we published several years ago. It contains over 200 pages of articles written by TR enthusiasts like you. All the problems you have come across in running and maintaining your car has been encountered by someone before you and this booklet is a compilation of their experiences.
Copies are available from the Register through Mal Munro (see address in the back of the Newsletter). Please forward a cheque or money order (made out to the TR Register) for $30 along with your return address to Mal and he will send you a copy.

Mal says: " We usually get to sell both copies together, especially to new members, & I quite often phone them to explain both that there ARE two volumes & that they can save postage if they forward another cheque.
We charge $25 + $7.50 ($32.50) for 1 copy but only $60 for both if posted together.
